Straightforward
We break down project management into four clear phases - Planning, Initiation, Execution, and Closure - making it easy to follow and implement. No unnecessary complexity, just a well-structured approach that helps you navigate projects efficiently.

Effective
Our methodology is designed for real results. By focusing on practical tools and a real-life project scenario, we ensure you not only understand project management but can also execute it successfully - delivering projects with confidence and clarity.
How does it work?
This course has been designed to act as a playbook that will teach you the fundamental skills necessary to manage and deliver projects. These skills will help you with both professional and personal projects and provide a detailed walkthrough of each phase of the Project Lifecycle.

Course Overview
The course is designed to teach you the fundamental skills necessary to successfully manage a project through all 4 phases of the project lifecycle.

Phase 1: Initiation
Project initiation is designed to summarise everything that occurs before a project is approved and the detailed planning begins.

Phase 2: Planning
The Planning phase focuses on defining the scope and impact of the project and then preparing and arranging everything necessary to execute it.

Phase 3: Execution
The Execution phase focuses on the actual creation or delivery of the project’s requirements. It is often the longest phase of the project, with the highest amount of concurrent workstreams and greatest potential for risk.

Phase 4: Closure
Project Closure is the final phase of the project management process. It focuses on reviewing the project, reflecting upon how well it went, and ensuring that everyone involved finishes their work and returns to their usual duties.

Course Summary
A summary of the key points, plus access to simple, easy to use templates for every step of the process. The templates also include instructions and reminders to help you use them effectively.

About Frameworks
At Frameworks, we are two passionate project management professionals with over 32 years of combined experience in the field. Having worked across both the public and private sectors, we’ve refined our skills and knowledge by managing a diverse range of projects. Our expertise has not only enabled us to lead complex initiatives for organizations but also helped us plan and successfully execute personal projects with the same structured approach.
Over the years, we've completed numerous project management courses, including Agile Project Management, Business Analysis, PRINCE2, and more. While these courses offer solid theoretical foundations—covering roles, principles, practices, and processes—they often fall short when it comes to practical application. They tell you what to do, but not how or when to do it. This gap in practical knowledge is exactly why we created Frameworks.
At Frameworks, we've developed a simple, clear, and well-defined four-phase methodology to guide you through the project management lifecycle. Our methodology covers: Planning, Initiation, Execution, and Closure. We've broken down each phase into easily digestible modules, providing practical tips, guidance, and best-practice tools to help you successfully deliver your projects.
But we don’t just stop at guidance—we equip you with the actual templates you need to bring your projects to life. Plus, we use a real-life project scenario to help contextualize your learning, ensuring you can apply it in a practical setting. The beauty of our methodology is that it gives you all the essential tools to effectively manage a project from start to finish. And the best part? You don’t need to use every single tool or tip. Once you understand our methodology, you can pick and choose what works best for your specific project needs.
Our approach is born from experience. We've seen firsthand how projects can become unnecessarily complicated—bogged down by bureaucratic processes or hindered by too many decision-makers, leading to stagnation and inefficiency. It’s frustrating to witness, and it's precisely why we felt compelled to share our knowledge and best practices.
We believe project management should be practical, straightforward, and effective. So whether you're an experienced project manager or just starting out, our methodology is designed to simplify the process, cut through the noise, and help you deliver successful projects with confidence. At Frameworks, we’re not just about theory—we’re about real, actionable results.
